Research and Advocacy
We believe that practice and research must inform each other.
Our work is grounded in lived experience and clinical insight, which helps us shape meaningful research questions and, in turn, help us directly support and strengthen clinical practice.
Research Objectives
The phenomenon of emotional abuse across different contexts and communities.
The link between emotional abuse and larger social, cultural, and systemic norms.
The effectiveness of preventive, psychoeducational, and therapeutic approaches in helping individuals identify, name, navigate, and heal from emotional abuse.
Our work may include mixed-methods studies and case studies using psychological, sociological, and anthropological lenses. We are especially interested in feminist, queer, and anti-caste perspectives that understand emotional abuse as both an interpersonal and systemic experience.
